Provocation to the first line of inquiry

Students activity; ‘Save the Last Word’. In groups of four, students each brought an artefact from home that they felt best represents themselves and then took turns to guess why the artefact had been chosen. Finally each student shared their reasons and were able to connect physical, social and emotional characteristics to their artefacts and compare similarities amongst themselves. 

It was an interesting and fun activity getting to know each other and discovering what students value and hold dear to life...
