solving a jig-saw puzzle
Central Idea
People are more alike than
different from each other.
Group Activity
Students were divided in to four groups and were given cut-outs of words from the central idea. Their task was to frame
a sentence in order to make meaning of their central idea.
Two groups came up with this Central
Idea:
People are more different from
each other than alike.
The other two groups came up with this
Central Idea:
People are more
alike than different from each other.
All the groups had valid reasons to prove their points.
Interesting and well done kids!!
