Reflecting on Learner Profile & Attitudes.
Once upon a time Mr. Turtle was out for a walk. While he was walking he met Mr. Hare. The Hare said to the Turtle look at you, you are so slow…hahaha. Then the Turtle said I am slow but sure I am steady. The Hare didn’t listen but went on laughing. Race me said the Turtle. That will be so easy but if you want it I will do it said the Hare. Let’s race till the tree. Ready get set go!! The Hare was very enthusiastic he went easily. Then they both saw a mountain. Then something very strange happened the Hare was waiting at the mountain for the Turtle. When the Turtle came the Hare told him I can take you up the mountain. That was very caring of the Hare and he cooperated with the Turtle. Then they reached the tree together. The Turtle happily thanked the Hare. And the Hare happily appreciated it. The audience watching in the forest also appreciated the Hare. The End

Once in a town of Twidilly, Diddly Doo, there lived a Tortoise and a Hare but nobody knew why. Now the Tortoise was cunning and used a clever little trick every time he played a race. The trick was to go in his shell and roll himself all the way to the finish line. The animals did not notice this because they thought his shell was a rock rolling down the hill. The Tortoise was confident that nobody would find out his secret. The Hare was caring and good tempered fellow and before Tortoise came he used to win all the races without fail or cheating. Now the Hare was curious. Why is Tortoise winning every time? He thought. So next time there was a race and he saw Tortoise go into his shell but before he could roll downhill Hare caught his shell…Got you!! He cried. And soon the Tortoise was being put in the police van. He tried to run faster and then finally came in front of the Tortoise. Then he saw that the finish line is invisible. Then he went near the lake. Then he saw a broken tree then he hopped over it and then he saw that the finish line is not over there it’s somewhere else then he hopped on that tree again and then he finally reached the finish line.

Loved the different interpretations by the students! :)

The Courageous Inquirers of Grade 5

Yes...it's quite interesting esp. to find out that students came up with their own ideas to end the story keeping in mind that they need to use the LP's and attitudes along the way...so proud of them!!
