Inventions alphabetical-wise

Students in groups were given alphabets and they were asked to think and write and draw as many inventions beginning with the particular letters assigned to each group. Students did a marvellous job like Q – quilts, X- xylophone, x-rays, z- zebra crossing, zips etc.

Difference between

DISCOVERY & INVENTIONS

Students were shown a video to help them understand the difference between an invention and a discovery. In the brainstorming session they came up with – Discovery is something that already exists. Whereas, Invention is something that comes as a solution to a problem to make our lives easier and better.

Students were then given an A4 card sheet to take home and write and draw at-least 5 discoveries and inventions each. They then presented their findings to the class. Well done kids!!
