UOI - HWOO - Central idea

Central Idea

Students unscrambled the central idea given to them and arrived at a meaningful sentence the pieces of the central idea that makes sense for them. In groups they reflected and looked for the key words. Using the Dictionary they wrote down the meaning of the key words on the hand out of central idea. They will keep adding their understanding of the central idea as the unit progresses using the ‘adventure gear’.
