 Literacy is clearly a key influence on the future success of the nation, as well as individual success. It is crucial that children at the primary school become confident readers and writers. One of our main tasks in primary school has to be to secure sufficient competency, coupled with a love of reading and writing for this will open up their further education and pass on a lasting joy.

 Our students have been on an amazing journey learning about ‘Genres of Literature’ in our UNIT of INQUIRY under the trans-disciplinary theme; ‘How we express ourselves’.

Students have not only enjoyed this ride but have also had an opportunity to write their own story books by selecting any Genre of their choice.

The Book launch day was started with an interactive session with Ms. Sonali Pota; the guest author who writes children story books on Indian mythology. She shared about her growing up experience esp. the story books she was fond of. Students enjoyed interacting with her and were surprised to see her own written story books.

And finally the moment came when Dr. Naidu our school director and Ms. Sonali Pota officially announced the ‘Book release’ by cutting the ribbon along with our Principal; Mrs. Meenakshi Singal. 

On a successful Book Launch of our young authors. It went very well beyond our expectations!!  Students were over joyed to show case their books to everyone.
