STUDENT LED CONFERENCE

STUDENT-LED-CONFERENCING is a reporting procedure, in which the student is very actively involved in the learning and reporting process, is a fundamental shift away from the one-way transference of information from teacher to parents, and is consistent with the characteristics of effective assessment in the PYP Curriculum. This approach gives students an opportunity to share with their parents their growth as a learner. They accept accountability and responsibility for their progress and achievement, and demonstrate a growing understanding of their development as independent learners.

After a formal introduction, students share their portfolios describing their proud and challenge work and the goals that set to achieve. It also showcases their teachers’ proud work in all the areas of their learning engagements.

Students showcased their work by showing the display boards in their classrooms.
