Exploring nature with our senses

Exploring nature with

our senses

Getting outside and experiencing nature in itself is a wonderful activity but you can take this experience to another level by turning it into an active experience.

Taking the time to be mindful of what we are seeing, hearing, smelling, and feeling brings the process to the forefront and makes it meaningful.

This is something what we did today during our nature walk. Students were given an opportunity to admire nature by exploring it with their senses.

Nature’s therapy

Walking barefoot on the grass

Students had a great experience of walking bare-feet on the grass in today’s nature walk class. They not felt refreshed but being in direct touch with the earth did wonders to them and they came back to the class being highly charged but contented.

Nature-walk in and around school enabled them to find out the important natural resources that are essential for our survival. This further led them to differentiate between basic finite and infinite resources.
